Your privacy matters to us

RunCoders is committed to protecting your personal data. Our products are designed with privacy in mind — we collect only what's needed and are transparent about how it's used.

01

Who We Are

RunCoders is a software development team that builds and maintains software and AI solutions, including products such as WooMax. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through our websites and products. When we say "we", "us", or "our", we mean RunCoders as the data controller for information collected on our websites. Where our products are installed on your own servers or platforms (e.g. a WordPress installation), you remain the data controller for any data processed on your infrastructure.

02

Information We Collect

On Our Websites

  • Contact information you voluntarily provide (name, email address) when reaching out for support or via our contact form.
  • Purchase information collected by our payment processors when you buy a product license: name, email address, billing country, and payment method details. We do not store payment card numbers.
  • Basic usage data such as pages visited and referral source, collected through standard web server logs.

Through Our Products

Some RunCoders products (such as WordPress plugins) operate entirely within your own environment. Any data processed by such products — for example, analytics, order data, or user activity — is stored on your own infrastructure and is never transmitted to our servers. Products may optionally use third-party SDKs (e.g. Freemius for license management) which may collect basic diagnostic information such as your platform version and site URL solely for licensing and compatibility purposes. You can opt out of this during product setup.

03

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and manage your product license purchases.
  • To send transactional emails related to your purchase, such as license keys, invoices, and renewal notices.
  • To provide customer support when you contact us.
  • To send important product updates or security notices. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
  • To improve our products and website based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns.
04

Third-Party Services

Freemius

We use Freemius to handle licensing and payment processing for certain products. When you purchase a product license, your purchase data is stored and managed by Freemius. Freemius acts as an independent data controller for payment information and is PCI-DSS compliant. Please review the Freemius Privacy Policy at freemius.com for details.

WordPress.org

Some RunCoders products may be distributed through the WordPress.org plugin repository. WordPress.org has its own privacy practices independent of ours.

05

Cookies

Our websites use only essential cookies necessary for basic functionality, such as maintaining session state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party checkout widgets used on our sites may set their own cookies strictly necessary for the purchasing session. These are not used for tracking or advertising.

06

Data Retention

  • Purchase and account records are retained for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required by law or for dispute resolution.
  • Support communications are retained for up to 2 years.
  • Web server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
  • Any analytics data collected by our products on your own server is stored there indefinitely until you uninstall the product or manually clear it.
07

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws — including the GDPR (EU/EEA), UK GDPR, or similar legislation — such as:

  • The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • The right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@runcoders.io. We will respond within 30 days.

08

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data in transit between your browser and our websites is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately.

09

Children's Privacy

RunCoders products and websites are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy occasionally. For significant changes, we will make a reasonable effort to notify active license holders via email.
